Closet MuslimObama's pig lipstick comment: Is he the biggest clown to ever run for the presidency?
He wasn't clowning. He was pointedly addressing the insiders of DC. He could have as well used, ';Make up doesn't make a dog a human.'; The present administration wants to be endorsed by the election of someone who will continue the present policies. Hence, ';even with lipstick; a pig is a pig and a Bushite is a Bushite.';
Obama's pig lipstick comment: Is he the biggest clown to ever run for the presidency?
If use of that expression makes Obama a clown, then it makes McCain a clown too! McCain has used the expression too, in reference to Hillary's proposals. If you expect an apology from Obama, then McCain needs to apologize first.

McCain criticized Democratic contenders for offering what he called costly universal health-care proposals that require too much government regulation. While he said he had not studied Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton's plan, he said it was ';eerily reminiscent'; of the failed plan she offered as first lady in the 1990s.
';I think they put some lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig,'; he said ...
Obama is going down Fast. So now lipstick equals dumb Woman.
I'm not to sure how that is going to go over with the women because I don't think they are the blind mindless people Obama thinks that they are.
Obama's quote:
';You can put lipstick on a pig. It's still a pig. You can wrap up an old fish in a piece of paper and call it change. It's still going to stink after eight years. We've had enough,'; he said
So is he also calling McCain a Fish?
I didn't think America Stinks, I love America it's my home and I am prould of it.
Although that phrase is a very commonly used phrase when you're disagreeing with someone, I do agree that it was stupid for Obama to say something like that. Especially when the word Lipstick has now direct association with Sarah Palin as the hockey mom and pit bull with lipstick. The first thing that came into my mind was not the idiom that I've heard so much but the fact that I really thought for a long while that Obama was comparing Palin to a pig. Many people have never heard of ';pig in lipstick'; phrase and will say that Obama's dissing Palin in a very lowly way. And who knows, he may even have thought of Palin when he said it. He's turning into the same gaffe machine that Joe Biden was and is. Where did all the smooth lofty talk go?? He's breaking under pressure because women voters are going to McCain big time, and he totally bombed it with this one, although he may not have meant it in the way, most people including me, as a woman myself, took it.
The truth is that every candidate his his or her shortcomings and the media loves to magnify them for everybody.
Obama, while good intentioned, just isn't fit to be our president. He's too much of an idealist. I think an inexperience idealist would be a disaster for this country. Combine him in the Whitehouse with a lunatic congress and there will be blood. Oh yes, there will be blood.
I'm not advocating McCain either. I don't know enough about who has run for president, but I'd say if we had to pick the clowns of the last couple decades I'd say Obama, Dukakis, Kerry. Edwards and Clinton are similar but I'd place them in a different category. GW Bush, though, has his own special place, too.
No he is clever and literate. The pig lipstick metaphor is a very common metaphor in our language. I am surprised anyone would not see it for what it is. In case it needs explaining, his point is that she is a fraud not a maverick, not a great leader. She is a close-minded leader of a sparsely populated state and a mean spirited one at that. I am ashamed that so many of you are focusing on such petty issues and not looking at fact. Republicans seem so happy to buy off on rumors and gossip. That is how we got into the state we are in today. The fact is that our country is in horrendous shape. Our Republican leaders have led us down a devastating path and have lined their pockets along the way. McCain/Palin means more of the same. Obama means change via an intelligent leader. It is a no brainer...
McCain made the same comment about Hillary Clinton and no one screamed sexism. To claim this comment is inappropriate or sexist, would be sexist in itself. What is up with the McCain camp trying to give Palin ';female protection';? If she can shoot a moose, she can surely deal with this accurate remark, which was meant to describe McCain's inaccurate claim to be the campaign for change. If you listen to the comment in it's context, and not just 3 seconds on UTube, you would be a complete dult to think this was directed at Palin's ';Hockey Mom'; lips.
People love to take things out of context.
Democrats might as well open the Bible up and also use the following quotes regarding divorce and adultery. But of course we would NEVER do that!
We wouldn't want McCain might burn in hell, or would we??
Divorce is forbidden (Mark 10:1-12).
Does that mean that a an individual who is divorced should be excommunicated and placed in a ghetto so to not contaminate other non-divorced people?
Adultery was prohibited, punishable death by stoning for both men and women (Deut. 22:22)
The Obamabots are still in denial that their candidate is the biggest jerk of all. he's done it with Hillary, he's doing it again.
There are four candidates in this race.. only one wear lipstick, there's no out of context there. Whether indirectly he is referring to Palin as a pig.
Poor desperate Repub-LIE-CONs.
You have no good ideas about what to do about the giant messes you got us into on Iraq, energy, the environment, women's issues, healthcare and the economy.
So you adopt the tactics of our arch-enemy Iran and do a ';photoshop'; chop job (in this case an audio edit) taking Obama's words out of context to try to fool us unwashed masses.
Do we have to put up with the same kind of slimy campaign tactics we get every 4 years from the Republican dirty-tricks machine? Nixon did it with Watergate. Bush with Swift-boating. And now McCain promises to give us ';straight talk'; ... yeah, right! Obviously, McCain's apple doesn't fall far from the tree. (Watch them try to twist this into me saying that Palin's as American as apple pie.)
Take your cynical phony outrage and stuff it. We won't get conned again!
Obama/Biden '08 -- Change we can believe in from honest patriots.
There鈥檚 no way that McCain is dumb enough to believe that Obama was referring to Palin with the lipstick comment.
The only other explanation for his reaction is that he thinks Americans ARE dumb enough to believe it.
For God鈥檚 sake, let鈥檚 not prove him right in November.
Only as much as John McCain who used the term referring to Hillary's health care plan circa 1993: %26lt;%26gt;http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/09/a-piggish-debat.html%26gt;
Funny that when one party uses a term it is ok, when another uses it it becomes slanderous. Ridiculous that this is the top topic of discussion instead of the economy, the war, health care, reproductive rights, ...
We need to grow up as a country and stop allowing ourselves to be distracted by such nonsense....
No, of course he isn't. That honor would go to the C- student, George W. Bush. This comment is a non-issue, and obviously McCain and his cohorts are trying to create an issue where there was none. It is a commonly used phrase that John McCain has used himself more than once in the last several months. One time while talking about Hillary Clinton's healthcare plan. So does that make him a bigot and sexist too? Why aren't you all up in arms over that. ';Up in arms'; is another common saying that you all probably don't understand either. Look it up.
I think that it might be possibly true that actually YOU are, not necessarily THE, but a runner-up for ONE of the biggest clowns in our country.
I know you try hard.
Obama is good. He's fine. Leave him alone, Son.
You feel angry inside. I can tell. I'm your doctor now. Tell me, where does it hurt?
Clowns dwell in circuses. Like the recent Republican convention.
Think about that, take an ibuprofen, and call me in the morning.
I don't get it?
It's an old saying.
Everybody knows that.
Oh my god?
He said Lipstick?
WELL!
That explains everything, since everybody is so sexist and just assumes he's talking about Palin. The only one who's said anything about her precious lipstick is her. ';I'm a pit bull with lipstick'; blah blah blah.
So anyway.
What exactly does this have to do with politics?
nothing, absolutely nothing.
Just some more smoke from the republican party who doesn't want anything to change.
I mean why would you?
these past 8 years have been amazing.
I can't find a job and have a baby to feed, but hey vote for McCain see where it gets all of us without work.
thumbs up dudes...thumbs up
This is an expression that apparently people have jumped on instead of attempting to learn something of it.
It is NOT meant against a person....it is used towards a situation, circumstance, issue.....
John McCain knows this very well himself, which is why I find it so hypocritical that his campaign is screaming 'gender' and 'sexist' card....
Senator McCain used the same phrase towards Senator Clinton during the primary's...
.
http://www.swamppolitics.com/news/politi鈥?/a>
Here is a site that offers some explanation of the expression.
http://www.wordwizard.com/phpbb3/viewtop鈥?/a>
Yes, that was mean and unnecessary. CNN tried to downplay it, but how is this change? He is getting more angry everyday. How many more voters did he lose with the ';fish'; and ';lipstick'; comments?
I think this very short video says it all:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDVUPqoowf8%26amp;feature=related
I have a feeling this is going to blow up today.... obama is going to wish he never said that. Palin mania finally got to him and he made the biggest slip-up of the election thus far...
Obama got his animals mixed up. Sarah compared herself to a pit bull. A pit bull is not a pig, that's a dog.
Now let's see, what's a female dog? I believe it begins with a ';B';.
Yes, he is the smoking gun of the democrats! He is showing that they are losing and getting very worried by portraying the lipstick comment!
I guess that when McCain used the *exact same phrase* to describe Hillary Clinton's health care plan he was just ';being folksy'; or was that ';being a maverick'; ?
HE'S CRAWLING LIKE A SNAKE WITH THAT COMMENT!
HE IS A SEXIST PIG AND MEN AND WOMEN IN AMERICA KNOW NOW WHERE THIS SNAKE STANDS
Only racist would say that.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gbIVyYKT鈥?/a>
I believe that comment is taken out of context when referring to either Presidential candidate.
Yes, I believe you are correct. Surely he wasn't advised to make such a statement. He is looking more like Bozo every day.
Think what he may say if elected...to foreign nations, etc.
You nailed it.
Yes, he is Bozo Swine and the biggest joke our great nation has ever had run for our highest office.
It was a fantastic comment.
McCain used the same phrase buddy so get over it.
I find it so funny that Obama has been in the lead in polls for almost the entire time, and now that he's behind by what? 1%? The republicans feel the need to run with what they can because they know that it is ALL OVER for them come November ..
Do you even know what he was referring to? It's an analogy- the exact analogy McCain used on Hillary Clinton about her wish to have a Universal Healthcare.
He was saying that no matter how much you doll crap up, it's still crap- much like what McCain and Palin want to do.
McSame made the same comments about Hillary.....but......I guess that is all right since he is your candidate.
Republicans vote for party only.....they could care less about America!
