I just hate it. I know it's trendy with the whole pin up look, but I hate it. I have pale skin, dark green eyes, and black hair, but i hate the way it looks on me. Why?I am ';winter'; skin coloured, and red lipstick is supose to be my colour, but I hate the way it looks on me?
Makeup is not a science...so even though you're a ';winter'; doesn't necessarily mean that red lipstick is going to look good on you.
A lot of it has to do with personality. Red lipstick is really ';showy'; and maybe that doesn't fit with you...I know it doesn't fit with me!
Go with what you like and what you think looks good. Its better to be comfortable then to be ';trendy';.I am ';winter'; skin coloured, and red lipstick is supose to be my colour, but I hate the way it looks on me?

How difficult is it to put on lipstick when you have a lip ring?
I've found it's pretty easy if you use a circular barbell instead of a completely closed ring. That way you can just flip it down, put on the lipstick/chapstick/lip gloss and flip them back up, mess free.

Coral suits any type of skin tone as it is universal colour, whereas you couldn't put browns on a lighter skinned person, and very light pinks on a darker skinned person.

Can i get oral herpes from used lipstick?
it's not like i used it immediately right after after my friend - i know that oral herpes can indeed spread if used directly after - but she tried it on a about a day before, didn't like it, and then gave it to me. I don't even know if she has herpes but I have a mysterious cut @ the outer edge of my lower lip. i think you could wear lipliner with lipgloss ONLY if you are wearing colored lipgloss with a very very light almost translucent lipliner...it shouldnt stand out...it should only line your lps so they look fuller. with lipstick the colors should be very simular. if you want your lips to look bigger use a shade lighter of liner and go just barely outside your natural ip line. try MAC lip liners or for a cheap alternativecover girl works best for me! good luck

You need to use the 2 system lipsticks - one applicator has lip stain and the other is a gloss that keeps it shiney and makes your lips feel nice.
I use Max Factor Lipfinity and it lasts all day, I just top it up with the shine pen that comes with it. It doesn't make your lips feel odd, infact i hardly know it's there!
Another one that got a good review is Cover Girl Outlast All-Day Lipcolor.

I have some by cover girl i don't know exactly what its called but there is two tubes ones the lip gloss and the other is like a chap stick and i wear it at dance competitions and it stays on forever! When i get home and take a shower i scrub my lips and it still doesn't come off. Its amazing stuff i would try that. They have a lot of different shades and you just put the clear over the top every once in a while when your lips feel dry. Hope that helped :)

Nay, I don't like lipstick. It gets annoying, you have to make sure that your lips are the same shade for that whole day. It also gets on your teeth and on what ever you eat/drink/kiss.

I think you will look better in a warmer, peachier or maybe brick red (the brown reds mentioned above can probably be easier found as a brick red). The bright ';gwen stefani'; cool red will wash you out. If you are not used to it, wearing red with a gloss or just a red gloss by itself is a nice way to start :)I want to wear red lipstick?
well since ur skin is medium tone i would preffer if u went with a lighter but brighter shade of red to make ur face brighter and i would recommend lip gloss instead of red lipstick as this is more wearable but pls. also try to mix othe colours i would say maybe brown would complement ur green eyes try hip by l'oreal for the brown lip gloss

Someone help me out: why are people talking about lipstick in the US election?
I'm an American living in Korea and while I try to follow campaign coverage as best as I can, it can be difficult. However, not hearing the garbage from CNN and Fox News has been great. I can ignore the idiotic crap and focus on actual issues. Someone help me out: why are people talking about lipstick in the US election?

What I don't like are bright, dark, or harsh shades that make girls look cheap or clownish. Also, I'm not a fan of the trend towards ';neutral lips';. I think lightening your lip color makes them fade into your face and makes your teeth look terrible! You should be able to SEE your lips, right?

only way I know how to remove makeup stains especially lipstick is this way, by adding a small amount of dish soap to the stain and rubbing the liquid in with your finger tips.
